A Word From
Brethren,
Education and training should be a lifelong commitment within our fraternity. While joining Freemasonry may begin with learning about its history, values, traditions, and expectations, true brotherhood requires us to continue learning and growing throughout our lives.
Our Purpose

The mission of the Education & Training Committee of the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts is to provide every Brother within our Jurisdiction the opportunity to acquire deeper Masonic understanding, empowering him to fulfill his potential within the Fraternity while strengthening and elevating each Lodge and District.
Committed to adding value to the Masonic journey, the Committee actively fosters the continuous pursuit of More Light. To this end, in-person, micro-learning, hybrid module programs will focus on Leadership training, Lodge Management, as well as Candidate and Officer Training.
A complete Learning Management System backed by in-person instruction, so every brother can learn how and when it suits him.
Lodges of Instruction and district sessions led by experienced brethren.
Track progress and confirm readiness for each officer role.
Micro-learning and hybrid modules available anywhere, anytime.
From a brother's first step to his greatest contribution to the craft.
Courses and resources currently available to brethren across the jurisdiction.

Every Worshipful Master’s Journey Begins with a Single Step.
The Master's Path Program is designed specifically for officers on their path towards becoming Master, but ANY Lodge Officer or member is encouraged to attend the sessions.
This training is to provide the soon-to-be Worshipful Master with the tools and skills needed to prepare for his year and to lead his Lodge. This revitalized training content will be beneficial to both "1st Time" as well as "Seasoned" leaders who assume the role of Worshipful Master.
In the Master's Path Program, Masonic leaders share approaches and tools that will strengthen lodge operations. The importance of this program induced then-Grand Master Jeffrey B. Hodgdon (GM 2004-2007) to establish the policy that "any Brother to be installed a Worshipful Master must attend the Master's Path Program during the 30 months prior to his installation. In addition, for the Master to qualify for the Grand Master's Award he must complete the program." His successors, Grand Masters Pageau, Stewart, Waugh, Gleason, Maggio, and now MWGM George F. Hamilton, strongly supported the program and continued this policy.

Wisdom Beyond the East — The Forum Where Leadership Grows
Past Master's Forum is a gathering of wisdom, where experience meets potential. It’s a space where those who have walked the path of leadership come together to inspire, support, and guide the next generation.
Though the form it takes may evolve, its heart will remain constant: a beacon of insight, a quiet strength, and a foundation upon which future leaders will build.

Aimed at those who have served as Master of their Lodge and have concluded, or are about to conclude, their term as Master.
